Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

主のいつくしみは絶えることがなく、そのあわれみは尽きることがない。これは朝ごとに新しく、あなたの真実は大きい。

耶和華說、日子將到、我要與以色列家和猶大家、另立新約…耶和華說、那些日子以後、我與以色列家所立的約、乃是這樣.我要將我的律法放在他們裡面、寫在他們心上.我要作他們的 神、他們要作我的子民。

"The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah...This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

主は言われる、見よ、わたしがイスラエルの家とユダの家とに新しい契約を立てる日が来る。......しかし、それらの日の後にわたしがイスラエルの家に立てる契約はこれである。すなわちわたしは、わたしの律法を彼らのうちに置き、その心にしるす。わたしは彼らの神となり、彼らはわたしの民となると主は言われる。

Jeremiah耶利米書17:7-8

倚靠耶和華、以耶和華為可靠的、那人有福了。他必像樹栽於水旁、在河邊扎根、炎熱來到、並不懼怕、葉子 仍必青翠、在乾旱之年毫無掛慮、而且結果不止。

But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

おおよそ主にたより、主を頼みとする人はさいわいである。彼は水のほとりに植えた木のようで、その根を川にのばし、暑さにあっても恐れることはない。その葉は常に青く、ひでりの年にも憂えることなく、絶えず実を結ぶ」。

耶和華用能力創造大地、用智慧建立世界、用聰明鋪張穹蒼。他一發聲、空中便有多水激動.他使雲霧從地極上騰.他造 電隨雨而閃、從他府庫中帶出風來。

But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

主はその力をもって地を造り、その知恵をもって世界を建て、その悟りをもって天をのべられた。彼が声を出されると、天に多くの水のざわめきがあり、また地の果から霧を立ちあがらせられる。彼は雨のために、いなびかりをおこし、その倉から風を取り出される。

Isaiah以賽亞書53:3-4

他被藐視、被人厭棄、多受痛苦、常經憂患。他被藐視、好像被人掩面不看的一樣.我們也不尊重他。他誠然擔當我們的憂患、背負我們的痛苦.我們卻以為他受責 罰、被 神擊打苦待了。

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

彼は侮られて人に捨てられ、悲しみの人で、病を知っていた。また顔をおおって忌みきらわれる者のように、彼は侮られた。われわれも彼を尊ばなかった。まことに彼はわれわれの病を負い、われわれの悲しみをになった。しかるに、われわれは思った、彼は打たれ、神にたたかれ、苦しめられたのだと。

Isaiah以賽亞書42:1-3

看哪、我的僕人、我所扶持、所揀選、心裡所喜悅的、我已將我的靈賜給他、他必將公理傳給外邦。他不喧嚷、不揚聲、也不使街上聽見他的聲音。壓傷的蘆葦、他不折斷.將殘的燈火、他不吹滅.他憑真實將 公理傳開。

Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice.

在那日、你們要說、當稱謝耶和華、求告他的名、將他所行的傳揚在萬民中、題說他的名已被尊崇。你們要向耶和華唱歌.因他所行的甚是美好.但願這事普傳天下。

In that day you will say: "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

その日、あなたがたは言う、「主に感謝せよ。そのみ名を呼べ。そのみわざをもろもろの民の中につたえよ。そのみ名のあがむべきことを語りつげよ。主をほめうたえ。主はそのみわざを、みごとになし遂げられたから。これを全地に宣べ伝えよ。

到那日、眼目高傲的必降為卑、性情狂傲的都必屈膝.惟獨耶和華被尊崇。必有萬軍耶和華降罰的一個日子、要臨到驕傲狂妄的、一切 自高的都必降為卑.

The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. The LORD Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted (and they will be humbled)

その日には目をあげて高ぶる者は低くせられ、おごる人はかがめられ、主のみ高くあげられる。これは、万軍の主の一日があって、すべて誇る者と高ぶる者、すべておのれを高くする者と得意な者とに/臨むからである。

求你將我放在你心上如印記、帶在你臂上如戳記.因為愛情如死之堅強.嫉恨如陰間之殘忍.所發的電光、是火焰的電 光、是耶和華的烈焰。 愛情、眾水不能息滅、大水也不能淹沒.若有人拿家中所有的 財寶要換愛情、就全被藐視。

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.

わたしをあなたの心に置いて印のようにし、あなたの腕に置いて印のようにしてください。愛は死のように強く、ねたみは墓のように残酷だからです。そのきらめきは火のきらめき、最もはげしい炎です。愛は大水も消すことができない、洪水もおぼれさせることができない。もし人がその家の財産をことごとく与えて、愛に換えようとするならば、いたくいやしめられるでしょう。

你趁著年幼、衰敗的日子尚未來到、就是你所說、我毫無喜樂的那些年日未曾臨近之先、當記念造你的主.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"

This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead.

すべての人に同一に臨むのは、日の下に行われるすべての事のうちの悪事である。また人の心は悪に満ち、その生きている間は、狂気がその心のうちにあり、その後は死者のもとに行くのである。

Ecclesiastes 傳道書7:8-10

事情的終局、強如事情的起頭.存心忍耐的、勝過居心驕傲的。你不要心裡急躁惱怒、因為惱怒存在愚昧人的懷中。不要說、先前的日子強過如今的日子、是甚麼緣故呢.你這樣問、不是出於智慧。

The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Do not say, "Why were the old days better than these?" For it is not wise to ask such questions

事の終りはその初めよりも良い。耐え忍ぶ心は、おごり高ぶる心にまさる。気をせきたてて怒るな。怒りは愚かな者の胸に宿るからである。 「昔が今よりもよかったのはなぜか」と言うな。あなたがこれを問うのは知恵から出るのではない。

Ecclesiastes 傳道書3:12-14

我知道世人、莫強如終身喜樂行善。並且人人喫喝、在他一切勞碌中享福.這也是 神的恩賜。我知道 神一切所作的、都必永存、無所增添、無所減少. 神這樣行、是要人在他面前存敬畏的心。

I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.

わたしは知っている。人にはその生きながらえている間、楽しく愉快に過ごすよりほかに良い事はない。またすべての人が食い飲みし、そのすべての労苦によって楽しみを得ることは神の賜物である。わたしは知っている。すべて神がなさる事は永遠に変ることがなく、これに加えることも、これから取ることもできない。神がこのようにされるのは、人々が神の前に恐れをもつようになるためである。

傳道者說、虛空的虛空、虛空的虛空.凡事都是虛空。人一切的勞碌、就是他在日光之下的勞碌、有甚麼益處呢。一代過去、一代又來.地卻永遠長存。

Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless." What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun? Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.

伝道者は言う、空の空、空の空、いっさいは空である。日の下で人が労するすべての労苦は、その身になんの益があるか。

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips...Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses

あすのことを誇ってはならない、一日のうちに何がおこるかを/知ることができないからだ。自分の口をもって自らをほめることなく、他人にほめさせよ。自分のくちびるをもってせず、ほかの人にあなたをほめさせよ。 ...愛する者が傷つけるのは、まことからであり、あだの口づけするのは偽りからである。

おりにかなって語る言葉は、銀の彫り物に金のりんごをはめたようだ。...自分の心を制しない人は、城壁のない破れた城のようだ。

To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue. All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
