耶穌所行的事、還有許多、若是一一的都寫出來、我想所寫的書、就是世界也容不下了。

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

イエスのなさったことは、このほかにまだ数多くある。もしいちいち書きつけるならば、世界もその書かれた文書を収めきれないであろうと思う。(ヨハネによる福音書)

John 約翰福音20:30-31

耶穌在門徒面前、另外行了許多神蹟、沒有記在這書上。但記這些事、要叫你們信耶穌是基督、是　神的兒子．並且叫你們信了他、就可以因他的名得生命。

Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

イエスは、この書に書かれていないしるしを、ほかにも多く、弟子たちの前で行われた。しかし、これらのことを書いたのは、あなたがたがイエスは神の子キリストであると信じるためであり、また、そう信じて、イエスの名によって命を得るためである。(ヨハネによる福音書)

耶穌又對他們說、願你們平安．父怎樣差遣了我、我也照樣差遣你們……你們赦免誰的罪、誰的罪就赦免了．你們留下誰的罪、誰的罪就留下了。

Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you...If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

イエスはまた彼らに言われた、「安かれ。父がわたしをおつかわしになったように、わたしもまたあなたがたをつかわす」......あなたがたがゆるす罪は、だれの罪でもゆるされ、あなたがたがゆるさずにおく罪は、そのまま残るであろう」。 (ヨハネによる福音書)

我將這些事告訴你們、是要叫你們在我裡面有平安。在世上你們有苦難．但你們可以放心、我已經勝了世界。

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

これらのことをあなたがたに話したのは、わたしにあって平安を得るためである。あなたがたは、この世ではなやみがある。しかし、勇気を出しなさい。わたしはすでに世に勝っている」。(ヨハネによる福音書)

我是葡萄樹、你們是枝子．常在我裡面的、我也常在他裡面、這人就多結果子．因為離了我、你們就不能作甚麼。

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

わたしはぶどうの木、あなたがたはその枝である。もし人がわたしにつながっており、またわたしがその人とつながっておれば、その人は実を豊かに結ぶようになる。わたしから離れては、あなたがたは何一つできないからである。(ヨハネによる福音書)

John 約翰福音14:23-24

耶穌回答說、人若愛我、就必遵守我的道．我父也必愛他、並且我們要到他那裡去、與他同住。不愛我的人就不遵守我的道．你們所聽見的道不是我的、乃是差我來之父的道。

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

イエスは彼に答えて言われた、「もしだれでもわたしを愛するならば、わたしの言葉を守るであろう。そして、わたしの父はその人を愛し、また、わたしたちはその人のところに行って、その人と一緒に住むであろう。 わたしを愛さない者はわたしの言葉を守らない。あなたがたが聞いている言葉は、わたしの言葉ではなく、わたしをつかわされた父の言葉である。(ヨハネによる福音書)

逾越節以前、耶穌知道自己離世歸父的時候到了．他既然愛世間屬自己的人、就愛他們到底…就離席站起來脫了衣服、拿一條手巾束腰。

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love...so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist.

過越の祭の前に、イエスは、この世を去って父のみもとに行くべき自分の時がきたことを知り、世にいる自分の者たちを愛して、彼らを最後まで愛し通された。  ...夕食の席から立ち上がって、上着を脱ぎ、手ぬぐいをとって腰に巻き(ヨハネによる福音書)

John 約翰福音12:26

若有人服事我、就當跟從我．我在那裡、服事我的人、也要在那裡．若有人服事我、我父必尊重他。

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

もしわたしに仕えようとする人があれば、その人はわたしに従って来るがよい。そうすれば、わたしのおる所に、わたしに仕える者もまた、おるであろう。もしわたしに仕えようとする人があれば、その人を父は重んじて下さるであろう。(ヨハネによる福音書)

於是耶穌開他們的心竅、使他們能明白聖經．又對他們說、照經上所寫的、基督必受害、第三日從死裡復活．並且人要奉他的名傳悔改赦罪的道、從耶路撒冷起直傳到萬邦。你們就是這些事的見證。

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

そこでイエスは、聖書を悟らせるために彼らの心を開いて言われた、「こう、しるしてある。キリストは苦しみを受けて、三日目に死人の中からよみがえる。そして、その名によって罪のゆるしを得させる悔改めが、エルサレムからはじまって、もろもろの国民に宣べ伝えられる。 あなたがたは、これらの事の証人である。(ルカによる福音書)

Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

そのとき、イエスは言われた、「父よ、彼らをおゆるしください。彼らは何をしているのか、わからずにいるのです」。人々はイエスの着物をくじ引きで分け合った。(ルカによる福音書)

耶穌卻叫他們來、說、讓小孩子到我這裡來、不要禁止他們．因為在　神國的、正是這樣的人。我實在告訴你們、凡要承受　神國的、若不像小孩子、斷不能進去。

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

するとイエスは幼な子らを呼び寄せて言われた、「幼な子らをわたしのところに来るままにしておきなさい、止めてはならない。神の国はこのような者の国である。 よく聞いておくがよい。だれでも幼な子のように神の国を受け入れる者でなければ、そこにはいることは決してできない」。(ルカによる福音書)

一個僕人不能事奉兩個主．不是惡這個愛那個、就是重這個輕那個．你們不能又事奉　神、又事奉瑪門

No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

どの僕でも、ふたりの主人に兼ね仕えることはできない。一方を憎んで他方を愛し、あるいは、一方に親しんで他方をうとんじるからである。あなたがたは、神と富とに兼ね仕えることはできない」。(ルカによる福音書)

人在最小的事上忠心、在大事上也忠心．在最小的事上不義、在大事上也不義。

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

ごく小さな事に忠実な者は、大きな事にも忠実である。ごく小さな事に不忠実な者は、大きな事にも不忠実である。(ルカによる福音書)

我告訴你們、一個罪人悔改、在　神的使者面前、也是這樣為他歡喜……只是你這個兄弟、是死而復活、失而又得的、所以我們理當歡喜快樂。

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents...But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.

よく聞きなさい。それと同じように、罪人がひとりでも悔い改めるなら、神の御使たちの前でよろこびがあるであろう」。  ...しかし、このあなたの弟は、死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから、喜び祝うのはあたりまえである』」。(ルカによる福音書)
