萬軍之耶和華說、我要差遣我的使者、在我前面豫備道路．你們所尋求的主、必忽然進入他的殿．立約的使者、就是你們所仰慕的、快要來到。

"See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the LORD Almighty.

日の出る所から日の入る所まで、諸国の間でわが名はあがめられ、至るところでわが名のために香がたかれ、清い献げ物がささげられている。わが名は諸国の間であがめられているからだ、と万軍の主は言われる。（マラキ書）

萬軍之耶和華如此說、將來必有列國的人、和多城的居民來到． 這城的居民、必到那城、說、我們要快去懇求耶和華的恩、尋求萬軍之耶和華．我也要去。 必有列邦的人、和強國的民、來到耶路撒冷、尋求萬軍之耶和華、懇求耶和華的恩。

This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, 'Let us go at once to entreat the LORD and seek the LORD Almighty. I myself am going.' And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the LORD Almighty and to entreat him."

万 軍の主はこう言われる。更に多くの民、多くの町の住民が到着する。 一つの町の住民は他の町に行って言う。『さあ、共に行って、主の恵みを求め／万軍の主を尋ね求めよう。』／『わたしも喜んで行きます。』多くの民、強い 国々の民も来て／エルサレムにいます万軍の主を尋ね求め／主の恵みを求める。(ゼカリヤ書)

The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and maintains his wrath against his enemies.The LORD is slow to anger and great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

主はねたみ、かつあだを報いる神、主はあだを報いる者、また憤る者、主はおのがあだに報復し、おのが敵に対して憤りをいだく。主は怒ることおそく、力強き者、主は罰すべき者を決してゆるされない者、主の道はつむじ風と大風の中にあり、雲はその足のちりである。(ナホム書)

世人哪、耶和華已指示你何為善。他向你所要的是甚麼呢。只要你行公義、好憐憫、存謙卑的心、與你的　神同行。耶和華向這城呼叫、智慧人必敬畏他的名．你們當聽是誰派定刑杖的懲罰。


He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Listen! The LORD is calling to the city--and to fear your name is wisdom--"Heed the rod and the One who appointed it.


人よ、何が善であり／主が何をお前に求めておられるかは／お前に告げられている。正義を行い、慈しみを愛し／へりくだって神と共に歩むこと、これである。主の御声は都に向かって呼ばわる。御名を畏れ敬うことこそ賢明である。聞け、ユダの部族とその集会よ。(ミカ書)

伯利恆以法他阿、你在猶大諸城中為小、將來必有一位從你那裡出來、在以色列中為我作掌權的．他的根源從亙古、從太初就有。

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

しかしベツレヘム・エフラタよ、あなたはユダの氏族のうちで小さい者だが、イスラエルを治める者があなたのうちから／わたしのために出る。その出るのは昔から、いにしえの日からである。(ミカ書)

約拿便照耶和華的話起來、往尼尼微去。這尼尼微是極大的城、有三日的路程。約拿進城走了一日、宣告說、再等四十日、尼尼微必傾覆了。 尼尼微人信服　神、便宣告禁食、從最大的到至小的都穿麻衣。

Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very important city--a visit required three days. On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty more days and Nineveh will be overturned." The Ninevites believed God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.

そこでヨナは主の言葉に従い、立って、ニネベに行った。ニネベは非常に大きな町であって、これを行きめぐるには、三日を要するほどであった。ヨナはその町 にはいり、初め一日路を行きめぐって呼ばわり、「四十日を経たらニネベは滅びる」と言った。そこでニネベの人々は神を信じ、断食をふれ、大きい者から小さ い者まで荒布を着た。 (ヨナ書)

必有拯救者上到錫安山、審判以掃山．國度就歸耶和華了。

Deliverers will go up on Mount Zion to govern the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will be the LORD'S.

こうして救う者はシオンの山に上って、エサウの山を治める。そして王国は主のものとなる。(オバデヤ書)

日頭要變為黑暗、月亮要變為血、這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。到那時候、凡求告耶和華名的就必得救．因為照耶和華所說的、在錫安山耶路撒冷必有逃脫的人、在剩下的人中必有耶和華所召的。

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.

主の日、大いなる恐るべき日が来る前に／太陽は闇に、月は血に変わる。しかし、主の御名を呼ぶ者は皆、救われる。主が言われたように／シオンの山、エルサレムには逃れ場があり／主が呼ばれる残りの者はそこにいる。(ヨエル書)

來罷、我們歸向耶和華．他撕裂我們、也必醫治．他打傷我們、也必纏裹。過兩天他必使我們甦醒、第三天他必使我們興起、我們就在他面前得以存活。

Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

你對他們說、主耶和華說、我指著我的永生起誓、我斷不喜悅惡人死亡．惟喜悅惡人轉離所行的道而活．以色列家阿、你們轉回、轉回罷、離開惡道．何必死亡 呢。

Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?'
