Ephesians以弗所書5:8-10

從前你們是暗昧的、但如今在主裡面是光明的、行事為人就當像光明的子女．光明所結的果子、就是一切良善、公義、誠實．總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)and find out what pleases the Lord.

あなたがたは、以前には暗闇でしたが、今は主に結ばれて、光となっています。光の子として歩みなさい。――光から、あらゆる善意と正義と真実とが生じるのです。――何が主に喜ばれるかを吟味しなさい。

至於淫亂、並一切污穢、或是貪婪、在你們中間連題都不可、方合聖徒的體統。淫詞、妄語、和戲笑的話、都不相宜、總要說感謝的話。

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

あなたがたの間では、聖なる者にふさわしく、みだらなことやいろいろの汚れたこと、あるいは貪欲なことを口にしてはなりません。 卑わいな言葉や愚かな話、下品な冗談もふさわしいものではありません。それよりも、感謝を表しなさい。

惟用愛心說誠實話、凡事長進、連於元首基督．全身都靠他聯絡得合式、百節各按各職、照著各體的功用、彼此相助、便叫身體漸漸增長、在愛中建立自己。

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

むしろ、愛に根ざして真理を語り、あらゆる面で、頭であるキリストに向かって成長していきます。キリストにより、体全体は、あらゆる節々が補い合うことによってしっかり組み合わされ、結び合わされて、おのおのの部分は分に応じて働いて体を成長させ、自ら愛によって造り上げられてゆくのです。

直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一、認識　神的兒子、得以長大成人、滿有基督長成的身量．使我們不再作小孩子、中了人的詭計、和欺騙的法術、被一切異教之風搖動、飄來飄去、就隨從各樣的異端．

until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

Ephesians以弗所書4:1-3

我為主被囚的勸你們、既然蒙召、行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱．凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐、用愛心互相寬容、用和平彼此聯絡、竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

そこで、主に結ばれて囚人となっているわたしはあなたがたに勧めます。神から招かれたのですから、その招きにふさわしく歩み、 一切高ぶることなく、柔和で、寛容の心を持ちなさい。愛をもって互いに忍耐し、平和のきずなで結ばれて、霊による一致を保つように努めなさい。

Ephesians以弗所書3:16-19

求他按著他豐盛的榮耀、藉著他的靈、叫你們心裡力量剛強起來、使基督因你們的信、住在你們心裡、叫你們的愛心、有根有基、能以和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛、是何等長闊高深、並知道這愛是過於人所能測度的、便叫　神一切所充滿的、充滿了你們。

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

你們從前遠離　神的人、如今卻在基督耶穌裡、靠著他的血、已經得親近了。”

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

しかしあなたがたは、以前は遠く離れていたが、今や、キリスト・イエスにおいて、キリストの血によって近い者となったのです。

Ephesians以弗所書2:11-12

所以你們應當記念、你們從前按肉體是外邦人、是稱為沒受割禮的這名原是那些憑人手在肉身上稱為受割禮之人所起的．那時、你們與基督無關、在以色列國民以外、在所應許的諸約上是局外人．並且活在世上沒有指望、沒有　神。

Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)--remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.

だから、心に留めておきなさい。あなたがたは以前には肉によれば異邦人であり、いわゆる手による割礼を身に受けている人々からは、割礼のない者と呼ばれていました。また、そのころは、キリストとかかわりなく、イスラエルの民に属さず、約束を含む契約と関係なく、この世の中で希望を持たず、神を知らずに生きていました。

Ephesians以弗所書2:10

我們原是他的工作、在基督耶穌裡造成的、為要叫我們行善、就是　神所豫備叫我們行的。

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

なぜなら、わたしたちは神に造られたものであり、しかも、神が前もって準備してくださった善い業のために、キリスト・イエスにおいて造られたからです。わたしたちは、その善い業を行って歩むのです。

你們得救是本乎恩、也因著信、這並不是出於自己、乃是　神所賜的．也不是出於行為、免得有人自誇。

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.

事実、あなたがたは、恵みにより、信仰によって救われました。このことは、自らの力によるのではなく、神の賜物です。行いによるのではありません。それは、だれも誇ることがないためなのです。
