John 約翰福音14:23-24

耶穌回答說、人若愛我、就必遵守我的道．我父也必愛他、並且我們要到他那裡去、與他同住。不愛我的人就不遵守我的道．你們所聽見的道不是我的、乃是差我來之父的道。

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

イエスは彼に答えて言われた、「もしだれでもわたしを愛するならば、わたしの言葉を守るであろう。そして、わたしの父はその人を愛し、また、わたしたちはその人のところに行って、その人と一緒に住むであろう。 わたしを愛さない者はわたしの言葉を守らない。あなたがたが聞いている言葉は、わたしの言葉ではなく、わたしをつかわされた父の言葉である。

John 約翰福音13:1,4

逾越節以前、耶穌知道自己離世歸父的時候到了．他既然愛世間屬自己的人、就愛他們到底…就離席站起來脫了衣服、拿一條手巾束腰。

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love...so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist.

過越の祭の前に、イエスは、この世を去って父のみもとに行くべき自分の時がきたことを知り、世にいる自分の者たちを愛して、彼らを最後まで愛し通された。  ...夕食の席から立ち上がって、上着を脱ぎ、手ぬぐいをとって腰に巻き、

耶穌回答說、也不是這人犯了罪、也不是他父母犯了罪、是要在他身上顯出　神的作為來。趁著白日、我們必須作那差我來者的工．黑夜將到、就沒有人能作工了。我在世上的時候、是世上的光。

Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

イ エスは答えられた、「本人が罪を犯したのでもなく、また、その両親が犯したのでもない。ただ神のみわざが、彼の上に現れるためである。わたしたちは、わた しをつかわされたかたのわざを、昼の間にしなければならない。夜が来る。すると、だれも働けなくなる。わたしは、この世にいる間は、世の光である」。

耶穌說、我就是生命的糧．到我這裡來的、必定不餓．信我的、永遠不渴。

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

神愛世人、甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們、叫一切信他的、不至滅亡、反得永生。因為　神差他的兒子降世、不是要定世人的罪、〔或作審判世人下同〕乃是要叫世人因他得救。信他的人、不被定罪．不信的人、罪已經定了、因為他不信　神獨生子的名。

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

神はそのひとり子を賜わったほどに、この世を愛して下さった。それは御子を信じる者がひとりも滅びないで、永遠の命を得るためである。神が御子を世につか わされたのは、世をさばくためではなく、御子によって、この世が救われるためである。彼を信じる者は、さばかれない。信じない者は、すでにさばかれてい る。神のひとり子の名を信じることをしないからである。

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

但你們不可這樣．你們裡頭為大的、倒要像年幼的．為首領的、倒要像服事人的。是誰為大、是坐席的呢、是服事人的呢．不是坐席的大麼．然而我在你們中間、如同服事人的。

But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

しかし、あなたがたは、そうであってはならない。かえって、あなたがたの中でいちばん偉い人はいちばん若い者のように、指導する人は仕える者のようになるべきである。食卓につく人と給仕する者と、どちらが偉いのか。食卓につく人の方ではないか。しかし、わたしはあなたがたの中で、給仕をする者のようにしている。

Luke 路加福音17:3-4

你們要謹慎．若是你的弟兄得罪你、就勸戒他．他若懊悔、就饒恕他。 倘若他一天七次得罪你、又七次回轉說、我懊悔了、你總要饒恕他。

So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

あなたがたは、自分で注意していなさい。もしあなたの兄弟が罪を犯すなら、彼をいさめなさい。そして悔い改めたら、ゆるしてやりなさい。もしあなたに対して一日に七度罪を犯し、そして七度『悔い改めます』と言ってあなたのところへ帰ってくれば、ゆるしてやるがよい」。

Luke路加福音16:10

人在最小的事上忠心、在大事上也忠心．在最小的事上不義、在大事上也不義。

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

小事に忠実な人は、大事にも忠実である。そして、小事に不忠実な人は大事にも不忠実である。

我告訴你們、一個罪人悔改、在　神的使者面前、也是這樣為他歡喜……只是你這個兄弟、是死而復活、失而又得的、所以我們理當歡喜快樂。

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents...But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.

よく聞きなさい。それと同じように、罪人がひとりでも悔い改めるなら、神の御使たちの前でよろこびがあるであろう」。  ...しかし、このあなたの弟は、死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから、喜び祝うのはあたりまえである』」。
