Revelation啟示錄7:13-15

長老中有一位問我說、這些穿白衣的是誰、是從那裡來的。我對他說、我主、你知道．他向我說、這些人是從大患難中出來的、曾用羔羊的血、把衣裳洗白淨了。所以他們在　神寶座前、晝夜在他殿中事奉他．坐寶座的要用帳幕覆庇他們。”

“Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes--who are they, and where did they come from?" I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb...and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them”

すると、長老の一人がわたしに問いかけた。「この白い衣を着た者たちは、だれか。また、どこから来たのか。」そこで、わたしが、「わたしの主よ、それはあなたの方がご存じです」と答えると、長老はまた、わたしに言った。「彼らは大きな苦難を通って来た者で、その衣を小羊の血で洗って白くしたのである。 それゆえ、彼らは神の玉座の前にいて、／昼も夜もその神殿で神に仕える。玉座に座っておられる方が、／この者たちの上に幕屋を張る。
