心をつくして主に信頼せよ、自分の知識にたよってはならない。  すべての道で主を認めよ、そうすれば、主はあなたの道をまっすぐにされる。自分を見て賢いと思ってはならない、主を恐れて、悪を離れよ。

主をほめたたえよ。その聖所で神をほめたたえよ。その力のあらわれる大空で主をほめたたえよ。その大能のはたらきのゆえに主をほめたたえよ。そのすぐれて大いなることのゆえに／主をほめたたえよ。音の高いシンバルをもって主をほめたたえよ。鳴りひびくシンバルをもって主をほめたたえよ。

わたしが地の基をすえた時、どこにいたか。もしあなたが知っているなら言え。あなたがもし知っているなら、／だれがその度量を定めたか。だれが測りなわを地の上に張ったか。その土台は何の上に置かれたか。その隅の石はだれがすえたか。

He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

しかしヨブは彼女に言った、「あなたの語ることは愚かな女の語るのと同じだ。われわれは神から幸をうけるのだから、災をも、うけるべきではないか」。すべてこの事においてヨブはそのくちびるをもって罪を犯さなかった。

"Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised."In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

そして言った、／「わたしは裸で母の胎を出た。また裸でかしこに帰ろう。主が与え、主が取られたのだ。主のみ名はほむべきかな」。すべてこの事においてヨブは罪を犯さず、また神に向かって愚かなことを言わなかった。

此時你若閉口不言、猶大人必從別處得解脫、蒙拯救、你和你父家、必致滅亡．焉知你得了王后的位分、不是為現今的機會麼。

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?

あなたがもし、このような時に黙っているならば、ほかの所から、助けと救がユダヤ人のために起るでしょう。しかし、あなたとあなたの父の家とは滅びるでしょう。あなたがこの国に迎えられたのは、このような時のためでなかったとだれが知りましょう」。

但你多年寬容他們、又用你的靈藉眾先知勸戒他們、他們仍不聽從．所以你將他們交在列國之民的手中。然而你大發憐憫、不全然滅絕他們、也不丟棄他們．因為你是有恩典、有憐憫的　神。

For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you admonished them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you handed them over to the neighboring peoples. But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.

それでもあなたは年久しく彼らを忍び、あなたの預言者たちにより、あなたのみたまをもって彼らを戒められましたが、彼らは耳を傾けなかったので、彼らを 国々の民の手に渡されました。しかしあなたは大いなるあわれみによって彼らを絶やさず、また彼らを捨てられませんでした。あなたは恵みあり、あわれみある 神でいらせられるからです。

You are the LORD God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham. You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.

let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father's house, have committed against you.
