A gentle answer
turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the
wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
柔らかい答は憤りをとどめ、激しい言葉は怒りをひきおこす。知恵ある者の舌は知識をわかち与え、愚かな者の口は愚かを吐き出す。
