雖然無花果樹不發旺、葡萄樹不結果、橄欖樹也不效力、田地不出糧食、圈中絕了羊、棚內也沒有牛．然而我要因耶和華歡欣、因救我的 神喜樂。主耶和華是我的力量．他使我的腳快如母鹿的蹄、又使我穩行在高處。這歌交與伶長、用絲弦的樂器。
Though
the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though
the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no
sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the
LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my
strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go

いちじくの木は花咲かず、ぶどうの木は実らず、オリブの木の産はむなしくなり、田畑は食物を生ぜず、おりには羊が絶え、牛舎には牛がいなくなる。
