凡事都可行．但不都有益處。凡事都可行．但不都造就人。無論何人、不要求自己的益處、乃要求別人的益處。

"Everything is permissible"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

すべてのことは許されている。しかし、すべてのことが益になるわけではない。すべてのことは許されている。しかし、すべてのことが人の徳を高めるのではない。だれでも、自分の益を求めないで、ほかの人の益を求めるべきである。
